First: 2 nights before camp started, Immy began sleeping 7-8 1/2 hour stretches at night. Granted, these stretches would start around 8pm...which still means waking at 4am for a feeding. But still, these are long stretches by any standard. She shocked us by continuing this trend right through all nights of camp and the night after camp. Then we had a night of waking every 3 hours. Last night was another 7hr stretch... but she didn't settle in for the night until 2am. (what in the world??) So, this just goes to show that you can't pin these babies! I think she'll getting the hang of the all night sleep... and I'm going to be patient while she does.
She had a fun camp, and her Mommy did, too. It was different, as expected. You feel pretty disconnected from everything that is going on that doesn't have to do with your baby and her schedule. But all went well and it was fun to visit with the other new moms. I was glad to be able to stay with T and Immy together.
Of course, I had my camera in the stroller, so basically with me at all times... but have exactly 0 photos to show for it. I know, I know, what's with that?
I will post some cute ones of my kid from last week. You can hardly help squeezing and squeezing her! Oh, my preci-wecious! (yep, i do call her ridiculous things like that... and all other manner of baby talk --- and i've probably ruined her ability to speak clearly before the age of 14 because of it... maybe.)
Much love to all. There has been lots of snow but we still haven't gotten out in it for a photo op.... I think this is because Imogen's mom is an old woman.
I leave you with a photo from this very afternoon -- pjs size 3-6mo.
And I think she had had it with me at this point... after vitamins, nose suctioning, a bath, and dressing.... and then I ask her to smile? She would have none of it. :-)
