In case you haven't heard.... there's an amazing giveaway @ Little Miss Momma.
Best of luck to us... I mean surely your name and my name will be the 2 that are picked from the 1000. I mean, right??

From today

We went out for lunch. We're missing one sister and two rowdy boys.

Then Davie came back to our house for a visit.

Poor Davie.  :)

Imogen is steadily working on top teeth and attempts at crawling. She tends to get frustrated quite easily... which means she needs to probably spend more time with Dad learning his good qualities!  (and yes, this says something bad about her Mom, I'm afraid. :)

resting with daddy... oh so sweet

And here's the last snap I'll share... a duck snack!

Life is good.

My niece.

Davie is 3 weeks big. Or 3 weeks little. She's a tiny thing... but steadily gaining (and well past her birth weight now at nearly 8lbs).  We love, love, love her!

Auty and Davie came over yesterday while our hubs played golf... then we all had dinner together. So fun.  Here are a few more shots of the precious one.... she dozed off and on while I was holding her. Oh so sweet!

My own (extra-large) baby is doing very well, too, and really enjoyed hanging out with her cousin yesterday. Actually, I'm not sure that she noticed her much, except when she would make noise... then Immy would look at her and say "ah", hoping for a conversation. :)

Party.

A few weeks ago I received this adorable invitation:

So, last Thursday the attendees from Richmond (we missed you Kristy and Autumn!), piled into Cheree's Suburban and drove to Charlottesville for the party.

We had a lot of fun.

Whitney and Kamryn

Lindsey and Braxton

Cheree and Camron

Courtney and Reagan

Janelle and Kendra

Amy and Emmett

Kristy and Rory

Anya and Imogen

We sat in the shade and enjoyed our picnics, and then had delicious lemon ice cream and shortbread cookies, home-made by Kristy.

So, thanks again, Kristy, for the great idea and fun party! I'm so thankful for all of my friends!

May you be overwhelmed by the blessings of God rather than the cares of this life.

Love to all... more on the happenings later.

Photos from today

I'm very sleepy.  But I can't go to sleep until the dryer gets done... so I figured I would share a couple of photos from today.

This first one is of my daughter. She took a break from playing to look out the window. We also got the cutest video of her, she would be playing with her toys, then stop and look out the window, and then laugh and talk and clap her hands. Just in her own little world. Adorable.

The next photo is of my niece.  They are all snug and settled at home now... and we were lucky enough to be able to take dinner over there tonight. Davie is precious.

I hope you all are doing well and looking forward to a fun weekend! The weather is supposed to be really nice here, so garage saleing sounds fun in theory... but I'm feeling super tired... annnnnd... I just heard the dryer click off. Clean sheets.

Nigh-nigh, my friends.

Camp.

Immy - recovering from camp. :)

Yes, my camera was securely packed and brought along to camp. Yes, I even took it out to take a photo when Immy and Kendra were giving kisses of greeting on the nursery floor (but then I didn't take any because they were all done by the time I had fished the camera from the depths of the diaper bag :(    :).  So yeah, haven't changed in the photo taking department.

But.... we had a really, really great camp. I would probably say that it was one of the best M.M. camps that I've been to in a while... I had such a good time visiting,  getting to know some of my Christian friends better, and being encouraged by them. :)

Imogen had lots of fun and did really well. Sure, by Sunday afternoon she was starting to get a bit cranky and overly tired (which meant it took her a while to settle down for the night on Sunday... sorry Nick, Linds, and Brax! :).  But all in all she did great (this helps her momma to have a relaxing camp, too!).

We had fun staying with N, L, and B, as always. That kid is adorable. It's so cute to hear him chattering away... not totally sure what it is that he's saying, but he's definitely trying to get his point across. So cute.

I had joked to some that I was hoping Autumn would have her baby on Sunday night, so that we could leave on Monday morning and skip the last day, as 4 day camps tend to get a little long.... but (as much as I am dying to meet my little niece), I'm kind of glad that she didn't, since I would have missed out of several blessings that happened on Monday. :)   It was really just so good to be with everyone!

Anyway, now the new baby can come. We're still waiting. Still very excited. I'll prove it. Below.

Love to you all... hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend!
