2 weekends

Two weekends ago we were invited over to Charlottesville to stay with Randal, Whitney and Kamryn. We had so much fun! Saturday night Ian, Kristy and Rory came for dinner and we had the wits about us to snap a shot of  the moms and girls. This photo was taken on T's phone... but I'm glad I have it, since I know our girls will grow up fast! Our daughters are all within 3 months of each other. I'm so glad Immy has friends out of town... and I'm glad we do, too!  Thanks R and W (and K) for the fun time, yummy food, and fun time! (wait, did I say that already??)

The following weekend (making it last weekend, I reckon), was Tori and Eric's beautiful wedding. Well no, I didn't get any photos of the wedding, surprisesurprise. Everything was really pretty and if you haven't seen pictures you should track some down.  T's trusty phone didn't let me down, though, and I snapped a hasty shot of Immy and her Dad right before she changed into comfys for the ride home. The sun was in her eyes and she was ready to be rid of her finery... but she was still a pretty good sport about it. :)

Love to all.

Oh, where to start?

Hi Folks. It feels like it's been a little while. How about some photos to get us all up to speed. Shall we?

Imogen likes taking a bath. She always has. I assume she always will. Here she is after one of said baths... pretending to be the Green Goblin.

Imogen does not like the Bumbo. Not really, anyway. She'll sit in it for a minute or two, and then she's ready to get out. I tried to remedy this by putting her in front of a mirror so she could admire herself... but I don't think it's working. We keep trying, though. We surely do.

Immy has begun rolling over. Both from back to tummy and tummy to back. She doesn't do this every day (my husband tells me that this is because she wears herself out rolling over, so she takes a few days off to rest up)...  Here's a snap from a last week when she was still proudly doing 'half-rolls'.

Last week was amazing and glorious and in the 70's. Friday was even warmer, so some of us met at the park for a picnic. Here are a few photos of the charming children at the picnic.

(not sure how Cora and Immy didn't get accounted for... they were there. I promise!)
Looking forward to very many more warm days and picnics!

We had a fun weekend in Charlottesville, but that's a post for another day.
Hope you're all doing well.
Love.

Hipstamatic Photos

Ok, if any of you read Kelsey's blog, you will remember that a few days ago she recommended downloading this photo app called Hipstamatic. My husband (his name is T for those who don't know him) does indeed have an iphone that he lets me use on rare occasions. :) I was telling him about this app that takes cool pictures... couldn't remember the name... and he says "Do you mean Instagram or Hipstamatic?" Go figure. So now I'm having lots of fun taking picture of he and Im.

And I will prove it with a few photos.

Laurie put the baby to sleep. So sweet.

This one reminds me of Goldilocks.

Oh, I love this one.

Hi, friends! (and an almost trick)

I won't keep you in suspense on the almost trick... Imogen rolled halfway over. She's actually done it several times. She'll get all the way on her side and stay there for a bit, before flopping back onto her back. She's working on it, though. Both from tummy to back and back to tummy. And it's adorable. :)

She's also loving her new foods. The current roster: rice cereal, carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, bananas
No allergies thus far, so that's good.

Here she is, just the other day, in all of her cuteness.
(and sorry to go on and on about 'her cuteness' this, 'her cuteness' that... I just love my girl. she's just so squeezy and perfect! :)

As you can see in the above photo, she is really sprouting some serious fuzz...still not sure what color her hair will be.

Oh, and here's one more photo.  It's of Im and Barry....and I think the camera flash startled both of them!

Barry and Im are great friends. He sleeps in her crib and rides in her carseat...and gets slobbered on....a lot.

Ok. That's all for now.  I'm so thankful for the Lord, and the amazing blessings He has given to me.... providing such joy, even when circumstances are uncertain and shaky.

Love to you all.
