...of updates! T's computer had a meltdown last week... so we've been reduced to a 1 comp. family (if you can even imagine it!). The new one should arrive this week... and I'll be back to posting pictures and zany adventures of my darling Imogen (who turned 5 whole weeks yesterday!). She's going to see Dr. Tull this afternoon for a checkup... can't wait to see how much she's grown in a month!
Love to all.

5 Generations
Happily, we were able to get together for a 5 generation photo before Jo left to go home today. I was so glad we were able to take it while she was here!
5 generations is a lot of generations! No doubt that this group is family, huh?
Im looked cute in her new outfit from Grammi... even if the headband kept falling down. :-)
Here are cute pics of Immy meeting her Great-great Gammy:
I love these:
Afterward Auntie Jo treated us to a nice lunch... Imogen was a napping angel the whole time... which means she won't sleep tonight, right?
Hope all is well, wherever you are! Love to all.

A Little Update
This week has been 'growth spurt' week! The munchkin has been eating more frequently and crying more frequently, too! I read that babies are crankier during growth spurts because their sleep patterns are all messed up...poor Imster... and poor Daddy who stays up to rock her back to sleep! I also read that growth spurts only last for a few days... so here's hoping! :-)
She hasn't learned any new tricks, but she's as cute as ever... and seems to be getting bigger every day!

Does Picasa automatically send updates when I add more pics to her album?

Steady as she grows...
Well, my lovely girl is 15 days old today. She seems to be settling into this world nicely (right this instant she's adorably taking a nap in her swing).
The past two nights she's been an angel at nighttime. Last night she slept for a 5 1/2 hr stretch! We've been trying to make sure she gets some awake time during the day so she gets her days and nights straight again (we pulled a couple all-nighters in a row last week :-). All in all, she's doing great, and I'm enjoying every minute!
Austin and Erica were driving through Richmond on Saturday and we were lucky enough to meet up with them for a few minutes at the mall. Imogen wore the hat Erica B. made for her and the scarf Ms. Linds gave her... and she looked every part the perfect French baby. Wouldn't you say?
And here's one of our family:
Sunday we ventured out for our first meeting. Immy was happy to meet everyone and did great...although after it was over her Mom was ready to go home and take a nap!
Today Kathy, her boys, and Autumn came over. They not only cleaned my house... but brought lunch and dinner, too! I'm so thankful for my friends and family!
Ok. I'll leave you with the most recent picture, taken this afternoon. Love to all!

Baby of the Week Award!
Man, it's amazing what gets you excited when you're a mom! Immy went to see her pediatrician this morning... and she had gained 17 oz. in the past 6 days! Her Dr. was excited...but her mommy and daddy were bouncing off the walls! Dr. Tull gave her the 'baby of the week award'. :-) The other fantastic news is that her Doc said since she's eating so well and has gained her birth weight + back...we are allowed to let her sleep as much as she wants to at night. No more waking the sleeping baby!! We woke her last night at 4 1/2 hours, but we're excited to see how long she wants to sleep between feedings.
Here's a picture from today of our precious little pig:
So, all is well with our little family. T has been working a few hours a day...getting back into the swing. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I'm so thankful for my amazing husband. He is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. It's an added bonus that he works from home! :-)
Here's the link to the Picasa album again, since I added more photos today.

Imogen Violet Campbell

Taylor and I are so happy that Imogen was born, safe and sound, on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010 -- 6:28am. Her labor and birth were quick (9 1/2 hours... which was so doable) and beautiful. Taylor was amazing and such a strength for me. We labored at home for several hours. Our doula and her apprentice came over around 2am. We arrived at the hospital at 5am... and Immy was here 1 1/2 hours later!
She was 8 pounds (as you can see from the photo above) and 20"...and amazingly beautiful.
Imogen's Daddy is smitten with his girl... and watching those two together is one of the happiest things I've ever done.
We stayed at the hospital until Wednesday mid-morning. We had a good hospital stay... but we were ready to take our little family home.

We've been having so much fun being home and comfy. I'll try to keep this blog updated so I'll write more later. I have a sleeping baby taking up most of my lap... and the laptop is kind of hanging off the couch. :-) It's nearly 8pm...and T's taking a nap (I had a 2 hr. one a bit ago) preparing for nighttime. :-) Taylor has been the most incredible guy ever... there's no way I could have done any of this without him!
Praising God for my blessings! Love to you all.

Does she get the stubborn streak from her Mommy or her Daddy??
So this is what 40 weeks pregnant feels like.
We went for the 40 week appointment today. Same dilation and effacement status... but baby's head is now at -1 station. They were all surprised to see me... I was on the 'list of weekend deliveries' for last weekend. No such luck. Oh well, it really, reeeally is happening any day now. And I'm feeling so good... nothing at all to complain about... I'm enjoying my long walks and sleeping great...just getting a tad bit impatient!
Hope to post the announcement soon!
PS: T and I hated to miss Apple Butter this past weekend, but we had a nice relaxing weekend together. Weird to think that it could have been our last 'just us' weekend. The weather was perfect-perfect and we tried to be out in it as much as possible. Sunday we walked around downtown before catching the afternoon Richmond Symphony concert (Debussy, Stravinsky, and Rachmaninoff d min piano concerto... what more could you ask for?). Then to Bottom's Up for dinner... then Bruster's.... man, that's too much junk food for this baby! But delicious junk food, nevertheless. Anyway, it was fun to chill with my superthebest husband before we turn into a 'real family'. :-)
