Our weekend with Irene was pretty uneventful. The only real excitement was a limb breaking on our neighbors tree (it broke straight down, no harm done), and losing power for 30 seconds. We were very fortunate, and grateful. It was a little scary, with the wind whipping and all, but we stayed safe and dry.
I know everyone didn't fare quite as well. Mom and Dad obtained a leaky roof (they still don't have power), Grandma and Granddaddy Campbell's huge tree fell and luckily missed houses and sheds (they still don't have power), and G and A got a crunched shed out of the deal (they do have power now... but they spent Sunday night with us cuz they didn't have power then... so that was fun :).
Here's hoping everything is back as it should be soon!
A bit of news about Imogen: she's crawling around like a crazy. Its so fun to watch her. Here she is playing in Davie's room.
