This is the revolution:
These two were happy to be in on it:
So ya, we had the great fortune to be able to go up to D.C. for the 25th Anniversary Tour of Les Miserables (our all-time favorite'est show). The only sad part for T was when he was reading the playbill page on audience etiquette and he discovered this: Rule #7 THOU SHALT NOT TALK, or hum, or sing along, or beat in time with a body part.
We all know how difficult this is, right?
Anyway, it was a super fun time. We also enjoyed some shopping and some tex-mex and some famous national landmarks (thanks to a couple of directional missteps :). Biggest ever thanks to Nonna (my mom) for staying with Imogen (who was sorely missed by her parents). Immy had just as good a time as we did -- having fun with her Nonna and her Grammi (frozen yogurt also played a part :). And she even got to see Boppa, Davie, Unc G, and Aunt Auty for dinner. So, thanks again Mom, for looking after her!
Another fun weekend in store! Hope you all are well.

i'll think maybe we'll wait a couple years to hang out with you and t again. "RED!" oh golly...
ReplyDeleteIt makes me smile to think of Taylor not being able to burst into song. :) Glad you guys got to do that.
