hello world

Well, shower 1 went off without a hitch -- more or less.  Tuesday morning I awoke to T, tapping away at his phone. "There's an 85% chance for rain at 10am.", he tells me.  Oh groan. This shower doubles as a picnic in the park. At 11am.  But, I put my best foot forward and replied "Abraham had faith even as he was raising the knife, and everything worked out for him."
And it didn't rain.  Well, it did shower just a little at the very end of the time after all the presents were opened.  So yay.

La looked pretty, as usual.

(i didn't really see all the neat things she got... so i'm still waiting for an invite to come over for a private viewing... but i doubt she reads this blog. so much for subtle hinting.)

So, now on to my cousin's shower next week!  And I must say, doing these parties for the girls is so much fun. It's fun to work with my friends to pull everything together. I'm so thankful for all the wonderful friends in my life!

Imogen is doing well, too. I'll share this photo set, which pretty much sums how it goes these days with the camera:
(ps: don't ask what she's wearing, cuz i don't even know)
Ok, here we go:

"oh, hi mom. i'm ready to get up now."

"hmm,what's that you're holding, mom?"

"i'll take that."

Oh, and she's getting more hair, probably as I type this. See for yourself!

In the sun it looks red, but I think, when its all said and done, it'll be brown.

How is everyone?

Love.
